I have spent many years trying to figure out what makes a place feel like home. All I know is that home is the place where vulnerability and love collide.

We have lived all over and recently settled into a sweet little house in the woods just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. We also spend half of the year on the road photographing families across the country while raising and schooling our five children along the way.

I am drawn to seeing how families cultivate traditions. I adore hearing every detail of how couples first met. My most favorite thing when taking someone's portrait is when they bravely show up even when it feels a little overwhelming and uncomfortable.

I believe that we were each created with artistic gifts just waiting to be shared with the world. I love working on a good project. I spend every moment that I am not cuddling my babies thinking about making something with my art that can spread the message of hope far and wide.
